Crossroads Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2007
90 points & "Smart Buy" - Wine Spectator May 2008
"Lithe and refined, with good intensity and balance to lime, narcissus flower and grapefruit rind flavors highlighted by savory herb and crushed stone accents. Grass, graphite, and a pretty peach note linger on the finish. Drink now" DS. 90 points

Our View -
Where should I start? Well for one its called the “WOW” wine; We were also pleasantly surprised as to how good the Crossroads Sauvignon Blanc was after an intense long dry & hot summer with a mild autumn (the perfect growng season). We first tried the 2007 vintage back in January 2008 and it was then that we realized on the spot, that this is going to be CROSSROADS Best Vintage yet.
Stylistically, it's a standout iconic Sauvignon Blanc that is refreshingly crisp with explosive fruit aromas, you can only come to expect from Marlborough New Zealand. You will definately notice the grapefuit on the nose, plus it has exceptional balance and acidity. This year we notice that the wine is going back to the typical "Wairau" style that the US has come to love.

"86" December 2005 Wine Enthusiast
From Gundagai, an area southwest of Sydney. A linear, fine quaff, full of black cherry and plum fruit. Its cottony-tannic shell has more staying power than its stuffing. Finishes with black cherry fruit. DT
